Things are looking amazing on our Newmarket project. Full front and backyard project. Looks like Oaks was the chosen stone with Rialto as the pick.

Our Church Street project in Markham moving along nicely. Working on a corner lot is a bonus I often overlook when working with clients. Corner lots give awesome access, are usually very visible to show off our finished work on 3 sides. This project is using Permacon Melville paver and we are using Oakville Stone Blue Ice Flagstone for the porch.

Adding a fresh layer of mulch in the fall does more than give your landscape a clean, finished look. It also helps protect your plants as temperatures begin to drop.

A 2–3" layer of mulch can help:
• Insulate the roots of perennials and shrubs
• Reduce temperature fluctuations in the soil
• Retain valuable moisture
• Suppress weeds
• Protect your garden beds through the winter months

A little fall preparation can go a long way toward a healthier, more beautiful garden next spring. 🌱

What a gorgeous new walkway! Our clients will enjoy this for year's to come!

Garden prep and getting ready for planting. Sod is in, soil is in and polymer is in.

Adding in a natural stone border due to awkward tree roots right at the driveway edge. I thought we could grade it down but it was too high. Edge stone required! Also, adding in some armour stone to garden to raise up one side.

One day to go! We won’t be rushing the polymer sand install at 5pm on a Friday. That will be a Monday task along with planting, soil and sod. Landscape lighting and irrigation got approved by the client today so that will get installed next week. Asphalt will hopefully be in for next week, better call Diego today! If you need an assessment on your property, DM or call me! Have a great weekend

Good depth on the excavation for the top border of Brussels Block. Clear gravel to help with any drainage and cloth installed on the base to prevent migration into the sub soil. It would have been easy to just scrape it down, add High Performance Base (HPB) and call it a day. The problem with doing that is the bricks will sink. We went down 15” to firm ground and compacted the base.
