Another garage floor brought back to life.

This slab was originally poured in 1977, and over the decades the cracks slowly widened due to water intrusion and freeze–thaw cycles. Once moisture gets into a cold garage slab, it expands, contracts, and keeps pushing those cracks apart year after year.

We repaired all structural cracks using a premium 15–20 year polyurethane, designed to stay flexible, bond deep, and block future moisture from getting in. This dramatically slows down further movement and will help protect the slab from freeze–thaw damage going forward.

Started on a concrete patch repair tonight at Rona during closing hours. The old section was breaking down and needed a proper rebuild, so I cut it out, re‑patched it, and finished it clean so it’s ready for morning traffic.

Another driveway fully restored — crack repaired, patch repaired, and sealed for long‑term protection.

This one had a failing center crack, spalling at the top that required patch repair, and worn-out decorative strips. We rebuilt the damaged areas, applied a deep penetrating sealer to protect the entire slab from within, and finished the strips with a 2‑stage penetrating treatment + durable acrylic topcoat to make them pop again.

Wrapped up a structural patch repair — and the client advised that this one had failed twice before. I removed and rebuilt the damaged section using a high‑strength repair mortar (stronger than the surrounding slab) and stamped it to match the existing finish. Re-sealed with a longer lasting sealer that really made it pop. No shortcuts, no surface‑level fixes.
