NEW – Panelized Shed Kits – Starting at $1,700

True North Manufacturing Inc. is now producing our new Light Duty Shed line in Midland, Ontario.

Designed as a practical and economical storage solution without the compromises of many lightweight retail shed products.

Available sizes:
- 8' × 8' – $1,700
- 8' × 10' – $1,800
- 8' × 12' – $1,900

Standard construction:
- 2×6 floor joists @ 24" O.C.
- 5/8" T&G plywood floor
- 2×4 wall framing @ 24" O.C.
- 2×4 roof framing @ 24" O.C.
- 7/16" OSB wall and roof sheathing
- Double barn-style doors
- Pre-built panelized components
- Stacked kit format for easy pickup and transportation

These are not shipped as loose piles of lumber.

The wall, floor and roof components are manufactured as panels in our facility, reducing cutting, measuring and framing on site.

The panelized format also makes the shed much easier to transport and move into a backyard than a fully assembled shed. Multiple kits can be efficiently stacked and transported together.

We’re opening our first 10 production spots at introductory pricing:

This 6' x 6' shed was built by our production team as part of a prototype/pilot build while developing new products and configurations. It was built using the same materials, production processes and quality standards we use in our regular work — we're simply making room after product development.

Shed dimensions:

• 8' x 8' overall base
• Approx. 9' exterior height at front
• Approx. 8' exterior height at rear
• Interior height: approx. 97" front / 88" rear
• Door rough opening: 30" x 76"
• Approx. 16–20" roof overhangs

At True North Manufacturing, we believe better manufacturing starts with better systems, stronger leadership, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Those same principles are the foundation of our sister company, True North Thinking, and we're excited to announce registration is now open for the TPS Foundations Development Pathway.

This practical, hands-on, two-day development program is designed for manufacturers, fabricators, construction companies, and other operational organizations looking to:

✔ Build structured problem-solving capability
✔ Create a sustainable culture of continuous improvement

A panelized construction process is not only about building wall and floor panels indoors.

It is about preparing more of the work before it reaches site.

That means better coordination.
More controlled fabrication.
Code-compliant assemblies.
Clearer handoffs.

And a stronger path to reducing project lead-time, reducing site labour pressure, and supporting on-time ex*****on.

Construction will always require strong site work, but the site should not have to absorb every problem, every adjustment, and every delay.
