Three days. No delays. No surprises. We hand the keys back and the next crew picks up right where we left off.

Plank by plank, row by row, we’re 2 days in and the floor’s all done. All that’s left is trim 🔨

This unit took on water. We took on the unit. Ripped it back to the plywood, sanded every seam, and gluing down 500 sq ft of engineered hardwood.

A big shoutout to our friends at Linas & Kostyantyn for calling us in 🤝 Day 2 is coming.

Keys are back with the owner on this one. A 900 square foot condo in Toronto, finished in European white oak with an ultra matte finish by Relative Floors + Walls and new trim throughout.

Expert install, delivered on time, and the owner moves in tomorrow to brand new floors underfoot.

After all the floors we have installed, it takes a lot for a material to stop us mid-job. This European White Oak from Relative Floors + Walls did it. It has been sitting in the space settling in, and today it got its turn.

Underlayment down, starting pieces set. Quite possibly the most beautiful thing we have laid down at Guild Wright to date. More floors tomorrow.

Completed the demo at our new Toronto project, and not a bad backdrop for it. Tearing out floors is usually the messiest stage of a job, so we’d rather leave it clean and ready for the fun part. New floors go in next.

Down to the last stretch at our Mississauga project. Trim goes on, paint next.

Some days everything just lines up. This was one of those. Can’t ask for much more.

Every good floor starts with removing what came before. Second storey carpet is out. Hardwood begins next week.
