A property can evolve right along with the people who use it.
After spending time with the original pump track, the family had a clearer sense of the kind of riding experience they wanted. The goal for the next phase was more flow, larger features, and fewer repetitive pumping elements.
We brought in two additional tandem loads of material, roughly 20 tons, and reworked the original track extensively.
All of the smaller pump rollers were removed and incorporated into larger features. Berms were built up, transitions were reshaped, and sections of the track were adjusted to create more of a flow-track experience.
The original foundation and overall layout remain in place, but the character of the track has changed significantly.
This is the kind of ongoing property project I really enjoy: build it, live with it, learn from it, and keep refining it to better suit the homeowner.
