A very special project, now complete! 🤍✨

From the initial design concepts to the final finishing touches, this custom lake house has been such a rewarding project to bring to life.

What makes this home especially meaningful is the opportunity we had to be involved in every stage of the design journey. From the exterior finishes and architectural details to the custom millwork, thoughtfully selected materials, and finally, a beautiful custom furniture package that truly brought the entire home together.

Every detail was carefully curated to create a cohesive, timeless, and inviting space that feels just as beautiful as its surroundings.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing years of planning, creativity, and collaboration come together into a finished home. We are incredibly proud of the result and so grateful to have been part of creating a special place where memories will be made and cherished for years to come.

There’s something so special about being an interior designer and finally getting to design my own dream ensuite! 🤍

After years of helping clients bring their dream spaces to life, it felt a little surreal to be on the other side of the design process and gave me the opportunity to understand what it felt like making so many decisions with emotion behind them.

For me, this space was all about creating a peaceful retreat, a balance of timeless design, warm beautiful materials, thoughtful details, and everyday luxury.

As a designer, I know the endless possibilities (which sometimes makes designing for yourself even harder! 😂), but there’s something incredibly rewarding about creating a space that reflects your own personal style.

A little reminder that great design isn’t just about how a space looks, but how it makes you feel. How spaces make me feel has always affected me since I was a little girl and it still continues and is always part of my process when designed for other people and after going through it, I believe it has given me a deeper understanding and depth to my design experience that I can share with my clients. 🥰💗💕

A home designed to feel just as beautiful as the views that surround it. ✨

This completed custom home is all about bringing together natural textures, timeless finishes, and thoughtful details. From the stunning natural stone fireplace to the custom millwork, every element was carefully considered to create a space that feels both elevated and inviting.

To complete the space, we curated a furniture package that brings warmth, comfort, and softness to the home, creating the perfect balance between high-end design and everyday living.

A beautiful reminder that luxury doesn’t have to compromise comfort. 🤍

From the outside in ✨

Consistency is such an important part of creating a home that feels intentional and cohesive. The warm tones in the wood and stone, against the contrasting details between the stucco and dark accents are carried inside, creating a natural connection between the two.

As you step through the mudroom door, those exterior finishes are complemented by warm wood millwork, light cabinetry, dark accents and soft textured flooring that resemble a natural stone. Each detail working together rather than competing.

We love when the exterior sets the tone and the interior continues the story. 🤍

Interior design is our kind of therapy. 🤍✨

There’s something so satisfying about taking a space that doesn’t quite feel right and slowly bringing it to life and its full potential!! Finding the right layout, layering textures, choosing colours, solving problems, paying attention to the details and watching everything finally come together, is SO SATISFYING!!!

But good design is about so much more than making a home look beautiful. Our surroundings can influence how we feel, function and move through our everyday lives. A thoughtfully designed space can bring a sense of calm, comfort and belonging, and make home feel a little more like you.

So yes… we will happily call picking finishes, rearranging floor plans and obsessing over the perfect details our form of therapy. 🤭🤎

We are so excited to finally share this custom Lake Cowichan home! 🤍

So much hard work happens behind the scenes to bring a home like this together! From making deadlines and coordinating trades, problem-solving on site when the details don’t go quite as planned. This project was a true example of collaboration, teamwork, and trusting the process.

Every challenge, decision, and last-minute adjustment was worth it when you see the final result. Warm, timeless, and absolutely stunning. ✨

This is what teamwork looks like, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came together!

The pool bathroom was the perfect place to have a little fun with the finishes! Playful marble flooring brings in just the right amount of pattern, while crisp whites, glass and polished details keep the space feeling light, airy and fresh.
