Today I am deeply grateful for the privilege to stand barefoot in these waters in PEACE and gaze upon the majesty of nature’s magnificence. “God” was in the clouds today. I was engrossed with the vibe of nature, mixed with perfect weather, mixed with the little snakes, birds, and other creatures adding to the magnanimity of Earth’s brilliance. I’m so deeply grateful for these moments and for the privilege of being able to call the Kootenay’s home. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏 🫶

The final touches were finally put on this long awaited basement finish! Believe it or not, this project was started in February. The 7 week wait 😳 for the two basic kitchen cabinets and butcher block countertop, has finally come to an end. This quaint little basement space is now complete and ready to be utilized. After the new window install, it’ll all be completely dialled. Equipped with a nicely hidden storage area behind the pocket door, this kitchenette and full bathroom is ready to serve my client’s darling kids. If I had the heart to describe what this space looked like prior, I would, but I think it’s best we celebrate the wins and focus on the positive 😜
Hope everyone had a great month! More good things to come, so stay tuned.

It’s probably about time I wrote a little update. This one is going to be a personal and not a professional one. This winter hit hard and heavy, set me on a course of inevitable dark night of the soul and therefore, change. Wanting to move forward as a full time GC after Ben’s passing no longer resonated, and I’ve had to reassess my professional and personal life trajectory from a different perspective. Without getting into too many personal details, I have decided to take some time to try to live life a little differently, go on a sabbatical for some time, heal my body, nervous system, sleep patterns, and most importantly, my daily routines. I’m spending more time in nature, getting back into fitness, time in sunshine, and reconnecting with the little things that bring joy and deep value to my life.

I’m deeply grateful for the invaluable support I’ve received from my dearest humans. I’m so grateful to live on this peaceful and stunning land, having attracted the most aligned tribe to walk beside me, and share this wonderful blessing. My intention is to take as little of what I’m given for granted every single day. Wishing you all peace, love, and abundance 🙏🖖

This was her bathroom and she got everything she wanted in it! This darling of a client and her husband did their thorough homework to get their dream en suite bathroom. They thought of everything and designed it all meticulously. She even thought of the little detail such as installing a corner shelf at the button of the shower to make leg shaving more convenient. How brilliant! Im honoured to have been part of it. I’m also grateful for their patience and grace while I spent the last half of this project working on their project while grieving the loss of my dear Ben 💔
Wishing you all good health and a wonderful weekend with your family and loved ones.

I never thought the day would come so soon, but it snuck up on us all. Today I grieve the loss of my brother Ben Bullock, whose mark on me is eternally seared into my soul. I’m grateful for our deep chats, our connection, our working relationship, to be privy to his skillset, his brotherhood, his trust, and sharing land and family symbiotically, so seamlessly. My soul aches for his loss. I pray for his wife, children, family, and loved ones to soothe their hearts in the coming chapter. Grateful to have known you brother 🙏

As we continue to mourn the loss of our beloved Ben, many of you have asked what you could do to help, which I’m deeply grateful for 🙏 We have set up a couple of options for people to help Erin and the kids through their next chapter of their life. Any help you’re able to offer is much appreciated. You can send an e-transfer to Erin directly at [email protected], and/or help out with the meal program by following this link:
