Meet Liz. 💜

She came to us ready for a change, and the space she is living in now says everything about why we love this work.

"I was very impressed with Tamara. She asked the right questions and really understood what I liked and wanted. As we were going through the fabric selection, Tamara was quickly able to show me a design I fell in love with.

The patterns and colours compliment my furniture and gives me the look and feel I wanted.
Installation was quick and effortless.

I highly recommend Sensational SEAMS."

Every project starts the same way for us; a conversation about how you actually want to live in the space, followed by custom measurements, thoughtful fabric and hardware selection, and installation handled entirely by our team.

This is what 40 years of doing this looks like, one home at a time. 💜

If you have been picturing a transformation like this for your own space, book a complimentary consultation through the link in our bio.

A couple of weeks ago, Tamara had the opportunity to attend a Hunter Douglas plant tour in Mexico. ✈️🌎

Only 25 Canadian dealers were selected, and she was one of them.

Time on the floor where everything is made, a round table with the Hunter Douglas team, and a first look at what is coming for 2027.

Seeing a product built from the ground up changes how you talk a client through their options. You know what is behind the sample book. Tamara came home with ideas we cannot wait to start showing you. ✨

Such an honour to be chosen. Congratulations Tamara. 🎉

October is Window Covering Safety Month, a good reminder that beautiful and safe are not mutually exclusive. 🪡

Corded blinds are one of the most overlooked hazards in homes with young children and pets. The good news? You don't have to choose between style and safety.

Every shade and blind we offer can be specified cordless, from roller and solar shades to cellular and pleated styles or fully motorized, so there's no cord at all.

We walk every client through the safest option for their home before a single product is ordered. That's just part of how we do things.

If you have little ones, grandkids, or pets in the house, this is worth a conversation. Book a complimentary consultation through the link in our bio. 💜

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! 🍁

This season always brings a moment to pause and be grateful, and this year that feeling runs deeper than usual. 40 years in business is only possible because of clients, partners, and a community that keeps showing up for us the way we try to show up for you.

Wherever you're spending today, we hope it's warm, full, and surrounded by the people who matter most.

Grateful for every one of you. 💜

From a pencil sketch to a peacock in full plume. 🦚

This custom cornice started as hand-drawn lines on plywood, then came to life with paint, fabric, and a lot of patience. Paired with rich, jewel-toned drapery, it's proof that window treatments can be true works of art, not just fabric on a rod!

That's the beauty of custom: no template, no shortcuts, just a design built entirely around your space. 🤩

We've always had a showroom, but for our 40th, we decided it was time for a full transformation. 🤩

From bare concrete and exposed studs mid-renovation to the space you see today, this was our way of marking 40 years of Sensational SEAMS. And it truly took a village, endless thanks to the incredible partners who helped bring our vision to life:

🔨 - floor renovations

And a huge thank you to our product partner ! 💜

Here's to 40 years behind us, and even more ahead. Have you visited our newly renovated showroom yet?

What if your home just... knew?

Morning light that rises with you. ☀️ Shades that lower before a video call. Blackout at bedtime without leaving the bed. 🛌

Motorized window treatments are one of the most transformative upgrades you can make, and they work seamlessly with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and the Hunter Douglas PowerView app.

Available for drapery, sheers, roman shades, rollers, solar shades, and outdoor screens. All custom-fit. All professionally installed by our team.

We bring 40+ years of experience to every motorization project, so when we say it will work flawlessly, we mean it. 💜

Trust the process. 🛠️

This cottage deck went from open framework to a fully screened retreat; motorized, retractable, and built to handle whatever the season brings.

Up for full sun and sky. 🌞
Down for bug-free evenings without losing that view over the treetops. 🌅

That's the beauty of a custom motorized screen system: total control, right at the touch of a button.

If you have been thinking about motorized screens for your home or cottage, book a complimentary consultation through the link in our bio. 💜

For the room that has been waiting. 🍂

The kids have moved out. The guest bed has served its purpose. And that room- the one you have walked past for years thinking "someday" is finally ready to become something for you.

A reading room. A quiet home office. A personal retreat. A space that finally reflects how you actually want to live.

Custom drapery, motorized sheers, the right light control, these are the details that turn a spare room into a room you love.

This is exactly what we do. And after 40+ years of it, we are very good at it. 💜

Book a complimentary in-home consultation through the link in our bio. Let's start with that room.
