Bright and airy was the brief. But we didn’t want that to come at the expense of personality.
We kept the foundation quiet: warm whites, natural wood and plenty of light. From there, we layered in the details that give the home depth.
Wall-to-wall sheer drapery softens the living spaces. Herringbone tile in the entry, wall sconces, warm hardware and subtle shifts in texture add interest without making the home feel busy.
And then there are the places we pushed things a little further — a blue colour-drenched guest bathroom and bullnose detailing in the primary bath.
None of these decisions are particularly loud on their own. Together, they’re what keep a bright home from feeling sterile.
