June 30th, 2016, I officially registered my business!! (Room to Breathe)
Throughout the decade, I worked with so many incredible clients in various spaces. Whether it was a mom of young kids way too overwhelmed, a 70+ person downsizing, or a busy business owner looking for a little boost, everyone is truly on their own path with their "clutter", and I am so grateful to have been part of the journey with you all.
We've laughed.
We've cried.
We've let go of thousands of items that were holding us back from the life we want to look forward to, while honouring and respecting the past.
The business has had a couple name changes for necessary reasons, but the passion I have for being able to support people through the overwhelming piles of clutter has never changed.
Having a baby, the pandemic, and full time hours at the library has caused some pauses from decluttering, but I've always found my way back to doing what I love.
10 years has taught me so much. I've improved strategies, efficiency, and feel that I better adapt to the individual and their needs. Of course I'm always learning and improving, but I am proud with how far I've come.
A big BIG part of what I love is supporting this community. Through fundraisers like used clothes swaps and book sales, I (along with some other really rad people) have been able to donate to and connect with some great non-profits, which really fills my cup.
π
So I guess I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has trusted me in their space to help guide them through an overwhelming closet, pantry, garage, or basement.
Thank you to those who have donated to and/or attended a fundraiser.
Thank you to those who have told a friend of family member about my services.
Thank you for 10 years.
I am so grateful.
..ok ya but can I just pull a Snoop Dogg for one sec? Because I think he was on to something...
"I wanna thank me. I wanna thank me for believing in me. I wanna thank for for doing all this hard work. I wanna thank me for trying to do more right than wrong. I wanna thank me for just being me at all times."
