Our Glebe Custom Renovation is going into the GOHBA Awards as a finalist in four categories!
This project is the adaptive re-use renovation of a historic three-storey institutional building in Ottawa's Glebe neighbourhood. The building was converted into a three-unit apartment residence with a basement garage, new elevator, and contemporary rooftop addition featuring an expansive terrace.
Reimagined as a private outdoor retreat above the city, the rooftop amenity includes dining and lounge areas, a fire table, hot tub, and lush planting zones, while large sliding glass walls create a seamless connection to an enclosed roof-level lounge and kitchen.
Together, the carefully integrated contemporary interventions and restored heritage character create a unique urban living experience that balances history, comfort, and modern design.
Interiors by 2H Interior Design, Landscape Architecture by Amanda Lapointe Design, and custom cabinetry by Muskoka Cabinet Company.
