It’s been two months, and apparently I’m still not over this part of our trip. 😂💚
One of the stops I was most excited about during our two-week adventure was finally getting to visit Bullseye Glass in Portland, Oregon! ✨
I’ve been admiring their glass pretty much since I started my glass journey, and getting my hands on more of it here in Canada hasn’t always been the easiest. So actually getting to walk through those doors and see everything in person was a pretty big deal for me!
Before our trip, I’d connected with someone at Bullseye, so getting to meet and chat in person made the visit even more special.
And then there was the GLASS. 😍
The colours, the textures, the frit, the dichroic, the sheets, the rods… SO. MUCH. GLASS.
I was basically a kid in a candy store. Except everything was breakable, expensive, and I wanted to take it all home. 😂
They even had a display explaining the science behind creating different glass colours, which was such a cool little bonus!
I could have spent HOURS wandering around, looking at everything and dreaming up all the things I could make.
Getting to visit somewhere I’ve admired for so long was definitely one of the highlights of our adventure.
And now? I’m just sitting here looking at this footage, wishing I could teleport myself straight back into those aisles. 🫠
Pretty sure this trip permanently altered my brain chemistry.
Huge thank you to the lovely people at Bullseye Glass Co. for making this such a memorable stop! ❤️
