After cutting the pieces for 2 scissor trusses here at the shop, I had the privilege of teaching the 2nd year students of Willowbank the art and craft of traditional timber framing over the week, hosted by The Brown Homestead .
We then followed that up with a day long intro course for the general public. 2 great groups: capable, interested, and fun!
By the end of the week we had cut the wall assembly for the pavilion destined for the Brown Home, and assembled the 2 new trusses next to the 2 from last year.
I'm so grateful to have been a part of this vision, and shaping, even this small part, the work force of tomorrow.
