These guys remind us to smile, pause and drop the crumbs 🐝

A constant conversation at the nursery was this topic. Here is a clear explanation of keeping these beauties healthy and looking their best.

I have spent the morning planting my ‘invitation to bees’ plants:

Borage, Sage, verbena bonariensis, salvia.

I can’t wait to hear the buzz.

Celebrate World Honey Bee Day
Honoring Our Pollinators

Protect the Bees
Sweet pollinators. Vital for life. Our planet needs them!
Bees are incredible engineers — one hive can visit millions of flowers daily, enabling one-third of the food we eat through their tireless pollination. Their intelligence shines in complex communication dances that map the best nectar sources, while their colonies work with perfect harmony for the greater good.
Save bees, save the planet. Plant flowers. Support local beekeepers.
Every small garden choice helps these golden guardians thrive and keeps our world blooming.

May I always remain a person who plants seeds with hope, gathers baskets of homegrown food, saves seeds for next season, pauses for sunrises over the garden, listens to birdsong, watches the bees at work, and doesn't mind being a little wild.

Elles sont proches! Ça prit 10 ans, mais c’est arrivé. Quel beau moment pour moi🥰

It’s taken 10 years but it has happened. The cats are resting together. It warmed my heart to see this.🥰

Ces chats nous font rire.

These two bring a smile to our face.

Today marks the day our father passed away. 1992. Long time ago, but feels not so long ago.

I have memories rushing into my day already. One that brings comfort is when Tony brought Bruce Springsteen into our house with Born To Run. I played that album incessantly. While sitting at the kitchen table, I heard Pops tapping his foot and humming the tune to Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out. I felt bonded with my family by Bruce.

I miss my dad. I only hope he is proud of how his children have carried themselves, continued his legacy and respected other.
From my observation of others, it is strangely difficult to maintain family unity, but with the teachings of our parents, we have managed and hope to continue growing after the change at the garden centre.

We hope you all feel the connection family can offer you and know it is a deep love that never ends. If we allow it and respect it.

Pops taught us that.

Notre père me manque.
