This month's mystery mineral definitely understood the Halloween colour palette. 🧡👀

Think you know what it is? Here are your clues:

🔍 CLUE #1: I'm famous for my incredibly vivid orange to red-orange colour and often form long, slender crystals.

🌎 CLUE #2: Some of the world's most spectacular specimens of me come from Tasmania, Australia.

🧪 CLUE #3: I'm a lead chromate mineral, and the chromium in my chemistry helps create my unforgettable colour.

🎃 BONUS CLUE: I'm surprisingly soft for something that looks this dramatic—only around 2.5–3 on the Mohs hardness scale.
