So cool that our LUXOR lamp is a main character in this very weird movie where a client falls in love with our customer service agent! So they changed our name from Northern Lights to Polar Lux ok no big deal. And we're based in Montreal so our customer service IS bilingual. But OMG CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT the actual awful BRIGHT LIGHT THERAPY MYTHS this thing portrays.

To set the record straight:
DO NOT use your light at night
Well you can but it might keep you awake - think of using bright light like having a coffee. Best is first thing in the AM.

DO NOT wear sunglasses
Again you can, technically but it will block the bright light and make it just the regular kind of light.

DO NOT meditate. Well you can meditate but if you keep your eyes closed during your bright light therapy sessions you won't be getting bright light to the eyes which is what lowers your melatonin and makes you feel alert and awake.

You don't need to stare at the light and you can continue blinking like a normal person. It doesn't work through the skin so waving your hands in front of it wont help either. If you need higher levels of vitamin d talk to your doctor about getting your levels tested and taking supplements.

And in case of the apocalypse please first save yourself and your dogs not your lamp haha
