Who says everything in your living room has to match? 👀

We actually love mixing pieces that bring a little something different to the room.

Take the rich cognac top-grain leather of our Bella Sectional, the exposed-joint details of the Rustic Rocker, and the random-planed Heritage Driftwood finish of the Chattanooga tables. Add in the solid maple Evora Display Cabinet with its soft Seapearl finish and a wall clock with visible moving gears, and suddenly you've got a room full of character without everything looking like it came from the same matching set.

That's the fun part of putting a room together. It's not always about finding pieces that match perfectly, but finding ones that just work together.

Come explore your own mix at our Saskatoon showroom! 🛋️

There’s something so satisfying about finding that one chair in a showroom you just sink into and immediately want to take home.

If you’ve been looking to tuck a new favourite spot into your living room, we’re clearing a little space on our floor this week with two distinct floor models ready to head out the door:

The Rybe Accent Chair, with its warm Honey Birch wooden curves and soft Forest green upholstery, has that classic mid-century calm that makes an empty corner feel complete.
(Floor special: $1,059, reg. $1,416)

The Praslin Swivel Barrel Chair — plush, supportive, and designed with a smooth 360° swivel, wrapped in a richly textured tan-toned fabric made for everyday use.
(Floor special: $1,299, reg. $1,736)

Both are individual showroom floor models available for immediate pickup.

Come by 819 2nd Ave N, Saskatoon, take a seat in both, and see which one feels like home.

Finding a TV stand that balances everyday cable clutter with real solid wood craftsmanship isn’t easy.

That’s why the Lotus TV Stand by Handstone kept catching attention on our showroom floor this month.

The reeded drawer front across the top brings quiet architectural texture to the room, while the open centre shelf keeps everyday tech within reach, and the closed cabinets give you a place to tuck away remotes, accessories, and the rest of the clutter.

Handcrafted in Ontario from solid wormy maple and finished in deep brushed buffalo, it brings warmth and character to the living room without making the space feel heavy.

Right now, this configuration is 32% off — but hurry, the sale ends Saturday, October 31.

A workspace at home shouldn’t make your bedroom or living space feel like an office cubicle.

The Tribeca Writing Desk by Handstone strikes that balance: handcrafted in Ontario from solid Wormy Maple, finished in a rich Brushwork Mocha, and accented with a Sunrise Ch*****ne k**b. Its clean, slim footprint gives you a dedicated place to focus by day, and when you’re done, the shallow drawer conceals your laptop and notebooks so the room feels like home again.

Our floor model is currently 32% off — but hurry, the sale ends Saturday, October 31.

Come see the Brushwork Mocha finish in person and imagine where a dedicated work corner could fit in your space.

Some chairs are just made for curling up with a warm drink and taking five minutes for yourself.

Its bowed back and cushioned seat give it that tucked-in feel, while the flared legs and textured fabric add just enough personality to stand out. Built on a solid hardwood frame, the Bethany brings an easy, grounding warmth to any quiet corner.

And a little bonus: the Bethany we currently have in stock is $879, regularly $1,200.

Stop by 819 2nd Ave N, Saskatoon, to try it in person and see how it feels in your space.

Hosting shouldn’t mean stressing over every glass without a coaster.

A solid wood table with a durable matte finish is made for real life, so you can spend less time worrying about every little mark and more time enjoying your guests. For everyday cleanup, a soft, damp cloth can often keep things simple.

Planning a custom Canadian-made dining set for the holidays? These pieces take time to build, so now is a good time to start planning.

There’s something special about the table before everyone arrives.

The plates aren’t full yet; the room is still quiet, and somehow you already know the stories are coming.

Thanksgiving is one of those days that reminds us how much can happen around a table: long conversations, second helpings, old stories, new memories, and everyone lingering a little longer than usual.

Wishing you a warm Thanksgiving filled with good food and even better company.

Our team at Abode will be taking some time to celebrate Thanksgiving too, so the showroom will be closed on Thanksgiving Monday. We look forward to welcoming you back after the holiday.

Which setup fits your everyday routine better?

Go with the sofa if:
You like keeping more floor space open for side tables or accent chairs. You want the flexibility to rearrange your living room more easily. You prefer a more structured seat with layered cushioning and support.
Shown: The Aiden in Nutmeg leather, crafted in Calgary with pocket coils and memory foam. And the best part? It’s currently on sale for $1,999.

Go with the sectional if:
You want room to stretch out without adding an ottoman. Your open-concept space could benefit from a defined seating zone. You like a softer, lounge-ready feel with feather-down cushioning.
Shown: The Bella in Cognac top-grain leather with a built-in chaise. Even better, it’s currently 30% off.

Both are on the showroom floor now and built in Calgary with solid Canadian wood frames.

Which one fits your home better?
