Beautiful job capping our new roof installation with metal all around, we also raised the parapet walls and skylight for added security against these tough Canadian winters..

The neighbor on the right had called us last fall and a few other roofers due to an attic inspection that sighted mold growth due to a lack of intake ventilation/improper mixed venting with exhaust.

We explained everything, what was causing the moisture build-up, causing the mold and what would be necessary to fix it. They decided to go with us due to the guarantee we put on all our work and the effort we made on explaining in detail.

Because of concrete blocking the intake at the line of the warm wall, severely hampering the intake, we suggested installing intake ventilation at the warm walls and above the firewall connecting the houses(as the more affordable option). As well, we installed two maximum vent and removed the old mixed venting that was existing ( exhaust was far too low on the roof and was mixed with box style vents and turbine vents, causing a shortcircuit of the ventilation system)

we've returned for a free follow-up inspection late this winter. Here's a video showing the difference good ventilation can make for the build-up of ice dams and the formation of icicles at the gutter. This can also serve as warning signal that you could have larger issues with improper ventilation and moisture build-up in the attic.

Installation of heating cables on roof, 12 inches past warm wall to eavestrough, through eavestrough and downspout for upper roof, lower roof and separate garage.

Beautiful little eavestrough installation I just completed. Of course if there are any issues in the next 10 years, I'll be there to fix them free of charge.. I'm confident that won't be necessary though 👍🏻
