This cooler wet weather is perfect for planting trees and shrubs! Fall is a great time for planting, and why not take advantage of the "end of season" sales?!

As we near the end of harvest season, there are many things we can do to prepare our gardens for winter and the next growing season!

-Mulch around newly planted trees, shrubs, perennials, raspberries, and strawberries,

-Add compost to the garden

-Plant garlic and flower bulbs

-And fall is still a great time for planting trees and shrubs (and taking advantage of great sale prices!!)

-Purchasing seeds for next year while our West Coast Seeds are on sale can help save a few $$ as well!
