We would like to take a moment to address the influx of rude behaviour, cruelty, hatred, and abusive language we have received lately regarding Purolator shipping and receiving.

First and foremost, this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated towards our staff.

• We are a Purolator Shipping Agent, not a depot. What this means is, we are an extension of the Purolator network… we are essentially a middle man.

• We do not control the shipments beyond customer or driver drop offs or pick ups. Once your packaged has arrived on our desk, it is scanned in for either driver pick-up, or consumer pick up. From there, it is out of our hands.

• We can only hold onto your packages for a set number of days, as per our Purolator Agent Agreement. This time frame is 7 days from date of driver drop-off. Once your package has arrived here, we will call you to let you know (if there is a number provided on your package) that it is ready for pick up.

• We do not control shipment pricing. This is set by Purolator. We are not “trying to rip you off”. We are not “pocketing this money”. We plug in your information, and are given a list of shipment choices that includes ground delivery, or next day, and with that can come with an increased cost.

• We are following the rules that Purolator has set forth for us as an agent. We have to abide by these rules in order to continue to provide the community with this service.
