Two Birds Design

Two Birds Design is a boutique Interior Design firm in Toronto established by Renee Frostick and Andi Wheelband.

Two Birds Design is comprised of principle designers, Renée Gammon and Andi Wheelband. With over 10 years experience working in award-winning design firms across Ontario, a partnership was formed to create a boutique interior design business. We specialize in creating unique and livable spaces while providing dedicated and personalized service, unrivaled by larger design firms. With a focus on exceptional quality, creative thinking and attention to detail, we ensure each project is handled with integrity and precision, from the initial planning stages through to construction and implementation. Rather than working in a “signature style” we develop each design based on the unique personality and lifestyle of our client. The first step to a well-designed space is carefully considered space planning. Without it even the most beautiful rooms can feel cluttered, cramped and uncomfortable. We begin with an initial design consultation where we will discuss the scope of your project, your tastes, lifestyle and how you intend to use the space. We’ll talk about your ideas, goals, and budget and come up with the best way to start turning your vision into reality.

For our client who loves green, this forest-inspired laundry room pairs an ethereal mural with sage green cabinets and charming mosaic tiles. Who wouldn’t love doing laundry in here?

L A T E L Y ~

It’s been a busy few months behind the scenes — scheming, planning, sourcing, drawing, and watching projects slowly come to life. From early ideas taking shape to spaces nearing the finish line, there’s lots in the works that we can’t wait to share. And making H&H’s for the fourth year in a row was a special way to kick off the season!

The ultimate recharge.

Designed as a calming retreat for a busy family, the primary suite at is all about unwinding. Wrapped in deep charcoal grey, the bedroom feels cocooning, with a luxurious walk-in closet and spa-like ensuite featuring a bespoke steam shower and soaker tub.

We’ve always loved the little details that make a kitchen work harder.

When determining the best interior organizers, we think strategically about the things homeowners reach for every day. From dedicated compartments for food-storage to clever pull-out drawers that give oversized pots a comfortable home, our goal is always to make everyday tasks feel easier for our clients. Hidden coffee bars, spice drawers and even discreet paper towel drawers may not be the stars of the show, but designing these little moments is one of our favourite parts of the process.

We’re thrilled to be featured in House & Home’s 2026 Top 100 Designers for the fourth year in a row. We’re honoured to be in the company of so many incredibly talented Canadian designers whose work we admire, and so grateful to and for highlighting our studio’s work in such an iconic Canadian design publication.

This recognition is a celebration of our incredible team, as well as the talented tradespeople and fabricators we work alongside on every project. Every space is a result of a collective effort that brings our design vision to life. We’ve been busy behind the scenes scheming up some beautiful spaces, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
