✨Before + After✨ This 70s oak bedroom set is built solid, it just needed to be brought into this century.

I did this by removing the old hardware, filling the existing holes, and adding a single, chunky, round ch*****ne bronze k***s. I sanded down the top and bottom trim and applied a warm brown stain called Aged Barrel by Varathane. Then I painted the body a medium cream colour called Pelham Gray by Benjamin Moore.

This combination brought this whole look together to create a more modern, updated look! No need to spend thousands on new, poorly crafted furniture. No need to have more precious wood end up in the landfill. Simply up-cycling what you already have!

By filling the existing holes with a durable filler, sanding smooth, and carefully measuring and drilling new holes, you can create a whole new look that feels intentional, polished, and high-end.

Want perfectly crisp paint lines on your furniture refinishing projects? Here’s a simple trick that makes all the difference!

Apply a thin coat of compatible clear coat along the edge of your painter’s tape to help seal it and prevent paint from bleeding underneath. Once dry, spray your paint, carefully remove the tape, and reveal those beautiful, clean lines!

It’s the little details that take a furniture makeover from good to professionally finished.

✨Before + After✨ From dull grey to bold, sophisticated and modern! This MDF dresser got a complete refresh with Onyx by Benjamin Moore and sleek gold hardware for that perfect finishing touch.

A little MDF refinishing tip! Unlike solid wood, MDF needs a gentle touch when sanding. I used 120-grit sandpaper to scuff the existing finish, followed by a bonding primer to help the paint adhere properly. Then I applied 3 coats of Onyx, lightly sanding between coats for a smooth, professional finish.

The right prep makes all the difference!
