This was a bit of a different comission. They passed along a pattern they purchased for this cute little mushroom coin purse, so I ordered up some clasps and put it together for them.

A new year hits and I was back to the old norm, i.e. more Pokemon! This Appletun was a fun, quick project. I had to throw some magnets on after the fact so that his secret eyes wouldn't go unnoticed.

December was a hell of a month, as you can probably guess, but I was able to find time to also finish this custom commission currently on its way to Belgium. The buyer asked me to recreate his logo (bottom right), which I think I did good justice.

Faith in humanity (somewhat) restored!

A million billion thanks to Twig & Squirrel's Wild Goods, who called me today to let me know that someone came into their store to sell my stolen dolls as their own. The owners were saintly enough to pay $50 for them (which I gladly repaid them) to get them into their hands before they went who knows where else.

If anyone is looking for amazing handcrafted gifts this Christmas, please go give them a look at 20th and E. These Riversdale guardian angels deserve more thanks than I could ever give.

I know my reach here may not be very far, but it's worth a shot anyway.

These guys were on their way to a private buyer who ordered them based on a personal sentimental connection. Sometime this afternoon (Dec. 14, between around 12:00-3:00pm) their blue bubble mailer package was waiting for delivery pickup was stolen from our front porch in Riversdale.

The buyer and I are devastated that someone would do this. If you know of anywhere to spread this to get more traction, please do so.

Such a simple pattern for such a cutie like Poliwag. The long felt tail is fun a touch too.

The antennae on Hoppip turned out real clean, which gives a pretty unique look compared to most of my others.
