This Saturday! 10th Annual Treat Walk in Waterdown! 🎃

Instead of spending hundreds at big box stores on brand name chocolate...

We decided to stay local.

We teamed up with a local Waterdown vendor ’s Crafting Creations and chose to gift STICKERS to all the kids coming out Saturday!

Gift stickers featuring our little coos dressed up in various costumes! 🐮👻🎃

Because let's be honest - kids get enough chocolate, what they REALLY love is stickers. And parents love supporting local.

This is what community looks like. Local shop supporting local maker to make local kids smile.

10 years of Treat Walk and this might be my favourite year yet.

Let’s be honest: Sometimes a candle just doesn’t work.

I love burning candles. But there are days I light one, blow it out 10 minutes later to run out the door, and think "what was the point?"

That’s why room sprays are better in some ways - and I’ll die on this hill.

**When spray wins over candle:**

1. You have 30 seconds. Guests are at the door, bathroom needs help, kitchen still smells like dinner. Spray = instant fresh. Candle = needs an hour to throw scent properly.

2. You have pets or little ones. No flame, no hot wax, no worrying. Spray the couch, the curtains, the dog bed. Walk away.

3. You want scent where you can't burn. Office at work, closet full of clothes, car, small bathroom, rental where candles aren't allowed. Spray goes everywhere candles can't.

4. You hate soot and tunneling. No black rim on your jar, no wasted wax on the sides, no trimming wicks. Just scent.

5. You want your house to smell different in every room. Bedroom calm, kitchen fresh, bathroom clean. You'd need 5 candles burning. With sprays you can layer and switch in seconds.

I'm not anti-candle. I burn one every single cozy night in.

But for real, busy, messy, dogs-and-kids-and-work life? Room spray is the hero you didn't know you needed.

Spent today exactly where I needed to be. 🍂

No shop. No to-do list. Just outside in the fall colours with my little sidekick, listening to the water and remembering why I love living here.

We have this. Right here in our backyard. Waterdown trails, Flamborough forests, little creeks like this that look like they belong in a painting.

I needed today. After rodeo weekend, before Treat Walk and the Christmas rush - just a day to breathe in nature and slow down.

This is what I want for you too this week.

Come wander Waterdown. Not to shop. Just to be here. Walk the village. Walk a trail. Bring your dog. Look at the leaves before they’re gone.

We’re open Thu 10-5, Fri 10-5, Sat 10-4 at 25 Main St S if you want to pop in and say hi - but honestly, today I just want to remind you to go outside.

Fall in Ontario is short. Go enjoy it. 🤎

Not because I'm trying to rush you - but because I've watched too many of you come in Dec 20th stressed, overwhelmed, and spending money you didn't want to spend all at once. Plus some of our stock we arent stocking again in 2026.. so get it before it's gone 😉

Come in now. In October. In your leggings with a coffee.
