Why limit your fall planters to annuals and only one season?
Mix it up with evergreen and flowering shrubs, and add incredible foliage with perennials…then transplant them into the garden for lasting impact.

The result will be full fall planters that look like a designer did them for you, and your garden benefits from the additions!
If you’re up to it, you could also lift and reuse the shrubs and perennials in your spring planters.

Your pines, cedars, and other evergreens naturally shed up to a third of their needles/foliage in the fall.

It can be alarming, but it is all part of the life cycle of the plant. Natural needle drop varies in intensity each season, but makes way for new growth for next season.
