As the autumn chill settles in outside, our design focus instantly shifts indoors. It’s that magical time of year when home stops being just a place you live, and starts becoming a sanctuary where you want to retreat and slow down.

For this cozy nook, we wanted to create the ultimate destination for those crisp autumn evenings. By pairing the architectural warmth of a fireplace with a comfortable, plush chair, this spot in the home practically begs you to pour a hot drink, grab a blanket, and unwind.

Tell us - are you looking forward to cozier nights indoors or do you miss the summer days behind us?

Now that the Thanksgiving leftovers are packed away and the dishes are finally done, we are getting a quiet moment to appreciate the beautiful details of this bright, open space.

While the chaos of hosting is fun, a hard-working kitchen makes the cleanup so much easier. For this design, we balanced timeless elegance with everyday functionality:

• Crisp White Cabinets: Keeps the room feeling incredibly bright, airy, and fresh, even on a rainy autumn day.

• The Contrasting Dark Island: Anchors the center of the room, adding rich depth and a perfect spot for guests to gather.

• Statement Lighting: Acts as the “jewelry” of the kitchen, drawing the eye upward and elevating the entire footprint.

If you love a bright, classic kitchen but are worried it will look too cold or sterile, don’t play it safe with an all-white palette. Grounding the room with a darker island and dramatic pendant lights creates an immediate focal point, giving a traditional space a high-end, designer edge.

The perfect recipe for a beautiful Thanksgiving table.

Warm tones, textured florals and tactile details come together to create a relaxed, elevated setting that feels anything but formal.

Our three layers:
• Warm autumn tones
• Seasonal, textured florals
• Linen, woven textures & ceramics

Host tip: Keep centrepieces low with bud vases and slender candles so the table stays beautiful — and conversation stays effortless.

There is a common misconception that holiday decorating requires plastic orange overload or compromising your home’s aesthetic.

For this living space, we wanted to prove that you can absolutely lean into the Halloween spirit while keeping your interior design feeling elevated, intentional, and cohesive.

Instead of overpowering the room, we used the bright white mantel as a crisp canvas for high-contrast, subtle drama. Here is how we styled a sophisticated, spooky look:

• The Guarded Garland: We wove black birds, delicate spiders, and miniature bats into a garland to create a subtle, dark whimsy.

• Playful Skeletal Accents: Strategically placing sleek skeletons in the room adds that unmistakable Halloween humor without cluttering the floor plan.

• Monochromatic Contrast: Sticking to a strict black, white, with some greenery ensures the seasonal additions blend seamlessly into the room’s existing architecture decor.

Design Tip: The secret to elegant holiday decor is restraint. Choose one focal point—like a fireplace mantel—and use small, high-quality sculptural accents (like matte black bats or birds) to tell a seasonal story. It keeps your home feeling festive for visitors without sacrificing your everyday design style.

With Thanksgiving weekend just a few days away, the focus naturally shifts to gathering, slow meals, and welcoming loved ones into our homes. While the food is the star of the show, a thoughtfully styled table sets the entire tone for the celebration.

For this look, we wanted to step away from formal dining and create an atmosphere that feels intentionally curated while inviting.

We brought this cozy, rustic vision to life using three main layers:

• Warm Color Palette: Grounded the table with rich, earthy tones like amber, terracotta, and deep ochre to instantly mirror the changing season.

• Autumn Florals: A textured centerpiece featuring seasonal blooms, dried grasses, and foliage adds movement and life to the setting.

• Tactile Layers: Blending rustic textures like woven placemats, linen runners, and ceramic dishware allows the table to feel organic, approachable, and beautifully grounded.

Design Tip: You don’t need a formal centerpiece to make a holiday table feel special. Gather a mix of bud vases in varying heights, fill them with a few stems of autumn florals or dried wheat, and scatter them down the center of the table alongside warm candlelight. It keeps sightlines open across the table so conversation can flow effortlessly all night.

Powder rooms are the ultimate design playground. Because it’s a high-traffic space that almost every houseguest will visit, we wanted to step away from the ordinary and create an experience that feels both incredibly practical and completely luxurious.

Instead of playing it safe, we leaned into bold contrast and high-end finishes to give this tiny room a massive personality.

Here is how we brought the drama:

• Dark Vanity: Grounded the small footprint with a rich, dark vanity that adds instant depth and sophistication.

• Gold Accents: Elevated the mood by pairing the dark tones with striking brushed gold fixtures and statement mirrors that catch the light beautifully.

• Patterned Tile: Tied it all together with a playful yet classic black-and-white patterned floor tile that makes a statement the second you step inside.

Design Tip: Don’t be afraid to go bold in a powder room! Because it’s a self-contained space, it is the perfect spot to experiment with dark colors, dramatic lighting, and patterned tiles.

When designing a modern kitchen, sometimes you have to break the rules to maximize the space.

For this project, we made a bold decision: we skipped the traditional kitchen table entirely and replaced it with a massive, statement-making island.

Running almost the entire length of the kitchen, this oversized island does it all. It bridges the gap between cooking and living by opening up directly into the family room, creating a seamless, connected flow.

With comfortable seating for four, it functions as a casual dining spot, a homework hub, and the ultimate staging area for entertaining guests.

Instead of dividing the room with a separate table and chairs, this design opens up the entire footprint, making the kitchen feel twice as large and infinitely more social.

Design Tip: If your kitchen adjoins an open-concept living or family room, consider trading a formal dining table for an elongated island. It streamlines the sightlines, maximizes your under-counter storage, and creates a natural gathering spot where the cook is always part of the conversation.
