There’s no universal “best” sports floor. 🏀
The right surface depends on how the facility will actually be used. A dedicated basketball court, school sports hall and multi-purpose facility can have very different requirements when it comes to shock absorption, ball response, grip, durability and maintenance.
That’s why sports flooring should be selected around the activity, frequency of use and performance expectations of the space.
For some facilities, a seamless polyurethane system may provide the right combination of comfort and durability. For others, hardwood, vinyl or another specialised system may be more appropriate.
The question isn’t simply “Which flooring is best?” It’s “Which flooring is right for this facility?”
