Today was one of those grey, rainy October days that make me miss summer so much.

And suddenly I found myself going through all these summer memories. The people I met, the moments we shared, the unexpected encounters, the new connections. So many beautiful things happened this summer, and somehow, so much changed for me along the way.

It was also my first real summer in the studio. We’ve been here for almost a year now, and looking back, I realise just how much this place has become part of my life, and how many beautiful things have grown from being here.

Some summers just leave a little more behind than a tan and a camera roll full of pictures.

This one definitely did. 🤍

Anyway, I’ll be in my studio making things with my hands, kicking off fall production today and making a few new cappuccino cups. Like it’s 1826. Very dangerous stuff. 💅🏻

There’s something about the last few months of the year that makes me want to do everything at once.

Create more, experience more, feel more. Push things a little further, explore new territory, make room for the unexpected.

Not because I feel like I’m running out of time. Quite the opposite. Because I’m genuinely excited about everything that’s still ahead.

A little restless, a little ambitious, very much in love with being alive.

The more I create, the more I realize how much of myself I put into everything I do.

My thoughts, my curiosity, my contradictions, my constantly changing mind.

And I think that’s what I love most about the life I’m building. The freedom to explore all of it, to work with incredible people, to follow whatever feels interesting and make something out of it.

Sometimes exhausting, sometimes chaotic, but so fu***ng beautiful.

Not even close to being done. And loving every bit of it. 🧑🏼‍🩰

Some battles are real. Some only exist in our heads.

The fear of failing. The need to be liked. The future we thought we’d have. The person we thought we needed to become.

Maybe growing isn’t about winning every battle. Maybe it’s about knowing which ones are worth fighting and which ones we can finally let go of.

Less fighting. More living. More becoming.
