Everyone loves a party, but no one likes a cup ring on a nice table. Our Party Coasters, available in two sets of six designs (12 different coasters in total), are a snazzy way to prevent wet table tops.

The colorful designs are just eye catching enough that your guests might think, “Oh, maybe I should use a coaster” instead of you having to casually slide one under the cup for them. Party Coasters are made of cork, compressed wood and a coated paper.

They’re perfect for everyday drinking, but cannot be submerged in liquid or left in a puddle - there’s a chance they could absorb the liquid and swell. 💦

Hello. Does this week feel insanely long or is it just us? Need a little pick-me-up?
How about a new Illustrated Canvas Mug?
That ought to do the trick! 🌈

No telescope required: Each of our Crystal Blobs holds a small galaxy of swirling nebulae, drifting stardust (and a few suspicious bubbles).

Each one a different corner of space… shrunk down to fit on a shelf 🪐✨

The hands that make the studio run aren’t always covered in clay or holding a pipe.
Here members of our team are separating our waste glass by size and shape. The glass is then recycled and made into new items - nothing gets thrown away!

Quality checking is also an important hands-on task. Here we’re using a polished stone cutting board to test for wobbly glass bottoms. If there’s a significant wobble well give it a light sanding with a glass diamond sanding machine.

Steady hands are something necessary when glazing. in this case a member of the team is dripping black spots on a white glaze base to create our Spot glaze.

Mion Mug handles require quite a bit of handiwork and care. Clay is extruded through a press, creating a long flat rope. The rope is laid out measured and cut by hand. The cut pieces are then laid out on a curved porcelain bar, giving them their shape before they’re applied to the body of the mug.

Our illustrated items are all hand painted - one at a time by founder Anders or one of our specially trained glazing colleagues.
Each character comes to life with tiny personal details and that special touch only hand work can give.

Many folks ask us about the last steps of finishing our glass items. Once the items are knocked off the pipe the head over to our finishing station where the break point is blasted with heat, stamped with our custom brass logo stamp and given one last wipe to ensure everything is flat even on the bottom.

Each recycled brick we use to make our Brick series is washed by hands. As these bricks are found, rescued from construction sites or bought from recycling stations they all have a bit of wear and tear and grunge that needs to be cleaned off. Sometimes the bricks have material on them that can damage the kilns, so it has to be removed before glazing.

For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere trees have started turning from lush greens to earthy browns, reds and yellows. Garden and balcony flower boxes are slowly going into hibernation as the sun creeps south for the winter ❄️

Help keep the winter depression at bay with a bi-weekly fresh bouquet in a lively vase - bring a bit of spring and summer inside during the darker months.

New Misfit Vases online today - flowers not included 💐

Introducing Oozer! 👁️ To commemorate 15 years of the Ghost, we’re launching a series of limited editions throughout 2026.
This is the fourth of these releases, hand thrown in a rustic grey/brown stoneware and glazed in a thick lumpy mint glaze. This ghost is a one eyed wonder.

It’s a bit mind-boggling, but the Ghost has lovingly haunted us since 2011! While the world has changed many times over since then, one thing hasn’t - the Ghost is still being hand thrown, glazed and decorated, one at a time, right here in Denmark.

As a single item release these are limited to about 160 pieces (more will be available later in the year as part of a special boxed set) - and only available online. Check out the remaining available Ghosts in the collection ( Mother of Pearl sold out) - two launches left until the super limited box set will be out late 2026 🕵🏻‍♂️
