That moment, when the sun's rays project a little dance of colour through a finished design, is truly magical. I'm going back to the 'old-school instagram' ways: see something nice, take a picture and share it. No filters, no music, just a photo.

Social media has lost the fun moments and the friendly chats over the past few years. I just scroll, like, and pass the time away. It's not the same anymore. I'm all for change, but I'm done with the overload of marketing videos and money-making schemes and monetisation of every click. I've got other pages for that.

If someone wants to click through and buy something from my shop, fantastic and it will be very much appreciated, but I need a calmer feed from those who became my social media friends and whose posts have disappeared among the frenzy of advertising.

Pretty planting decor in Valencia - searching through my old photos for COPPER PATINA BLUE (& GREEN) inspiration.

I broke my shoulder and foot and am learning to use my left hand and getting used to the pen stylus on the phone screen. I'm getting there. Anyway, this is a better thing to do - using all those photos I took for the reason they were taken - instead of sharing boring photos of the movement of snow on the roof across the road and some mundane pigeon behaviour.

The heat is rising, the snow will come crashing down from the 6th floor and smother the bushes below. January is Januarying ❄️

Back home in freezing Prague 🥶
But happily watched the sun set on the Alps as we flew over France and Switzerland 🏔️
Now, it's recovery time - mend the broken bones, regain the use of my dominant hand, avoid the -16°C snow and ice outside, catch up with paperwork and get back on track. Oh, and get some pics from my husband who became my memory photographer on holiday 🤗
