Taking a plain vintage pitch pine stool and creating an attractive and use able piece of furniture.

Cleaned excess dirt off with Omniclean before sanding off the varnish. Second clean with Omniclean. Stainblocking Primer in white to ensure tannins from the pine won't bleed through. Two good coats of Vintage in Linen before adding the magnolia blossom transfers and sealing/protecting with clear wax.

There is so much more to chalk paint than upcycling furniture. One of our lovely customers recently bought our interior wall paint Velvet in a sumptuous Dark Chocolate.

This pigment rich colour was applied in two coats over a white wall. This decoration was carried out by a professional, two coats and the job was done. A lot more cost affective than a cheaper brand requiring more coats and therefore more time by the artisan.

Next up for this couple is waxing their floors with Autentico's Grandiose. Pictures to follow their progress.

LVE Chalk Paint.... we do.... We are an Autentico chalk and lime paint stockist based in La Vieille Ecole Brconte and salon de thé in Lesignac-Durand.

We hold a wide range of products and colours available to take away on the day. We can order items for delivery to home or to the showroom in about a week.

We have worked with paint for several decades, so, if you need advice or inspiration, we've got it!

Transforming an old tired desk into a statement piece for the office.

Products used:

* Omniclean: to take off the final residue after sanding preparation.
* Stainblocking Primer: seal the oak tannins from bleeding into the colour and ensure the top coat is as robust as possible...it is a working desk!
* Versante Matt in Dutch Blue
* Sparkling Wax in Copper to highlight the detail

The top of the desk needed repair having been stored in an old garage for many years. It was too damaged to simply wax. It was prepped in the same way as the body, primed and painted in Versante Matt Chocolate before being sealed with Sparking Wax in Copper.

Making seating for a private bar from old wooden bed frames - these beds were between 110cm and 130cm wide so an odd size for today's sleeping requirements. Often these beautiful beds are discarded and end up broken.

Instead, these were turning into seating and panelling in Jo and Rob's private bar.

Firstly, the wood was sanded then thoroughly cleaned using Omniclean. Stainblocking Primer to cover the various old woods and etch to the newer shiny panels... then on with the colour.

Walls painted in Versante Matt "Silk" colour, backs to the seating Versante Eggshell "Surrey Hills" and the bottom benches Versante Eggshell "Vert Anglaise"
