We couldn’t miss the chance to test out recently completed Viccy park in Swansea during all this hot weather.

We couldn’t be happier with their results seeing this project come to a close. Shout out to all of the locals who came down for a skate and all of the support along the way.

Our recently completed build in Cowbridge.

The Skatepark needed to fit in the space between the existing path, the perimeter wall, and the tree canopies at either end.

With the previous metal park left unused and unloved, our design looked to include the essential features to revive the scene - a wide mini-ramp for learning transition, and a variety of ledges, curbs and banks covering off the street classics.

Alongside the staples, the wedge to red curb feature brings a little flair. Dyed concrete and Welsh slate cladding nestles the park into it’s surroundings.

Swipe to the end to see the transformation.

Swansea’s Victoria Park has been given a much needed facelift.

Delivered as part of Swansea’s municipal skate-able spaces strategy, the new plaza has seen some serious ripping since the fences came down - head over to vicky_park_plaza for a taste of the action.

Swansea City Council worked with Curve Studio to audit existing facilities in the city, assessing conditions and mapping out where investment was needed, with a view to delivering a variety of Skateparks that covered all bases.

(Once the investment is complete, most people in the city won’t have to travel more than two miles to reach a redeveloped skatepark).

We were on the road this weekend and couldn’t resist dropping by Blythe to quality test a favourite of ours.

We had so much fun working on this park from the very start, a real in-house collaborative effort and it is so rewarding to see it being well loved.

End of the day, we are just stoked to be able to provide another third space in a community.

We have to commend for their incredible work on this site. The quality couldn’t be any better. It takes a village after all !

in Swansea is nearly complete.
To all the eager locals, sorry for the tease. The park is of course nearly done, we just have some additional safety railings/landscape works/benches to install before a final safety inspection and then will be ready to ride!
In the meantime, some of the other parks in the area have been signed off to tie you over. 🤙
