Well, that’s 2026 nearly full already… 👀🌱

It’s shaping up to be another incredibly busy year for the First Tunnels Construction Teams! Our installation diary is filling up fast, with only a limited number of dates still available for 2026. From smaller garden polytunnels to larger commercial builds, our experienced construction team can take care of the hard work and get your tunnel built, covered and ready for growing.

🍂 September in the Polytunnel

As crisp, cool mornings signal the approach of autumn, September is a busy and important month for polytunnel growers. 🌱

It’s the perfect time to sow winter and hungry-gap crops, including sprouting broccoli, cabbage, peas and lettuce, while continuing to harvest summer favourites.

It’s also time to prepare for winter — clear out finished summer crops, make space for new seedlings, and take advantage of the polytunnel’s warmer conditions to extend the growing season.
