Introducing Tom’s Studio x Solidwool. A truly unique writing experience crafted from waste wool fibres.

Tom's Studio are the UK-based stationery company, combatting single-use plastic pens that are currently saturating the market. And now, we've teamed up with them to transform surplus and waste wool from British farms, into items that can be treasured for a lifetime.

Each individually turned by hand, Tom’s Studio have preserved the natural fibres, textures and variations of our Herdwick and Welsh Mountain sheet material. And with no two pens completely alike - these are the creative tools, fit for creatives.

We are thrilled to have won Furniture Product of the Year for our Hembury Side Table at the Mix Awards.

A judging panel of industry experts commended our “wonderful use of biodegradable and renewable material" naming Solidwool as an "exciting material innovation" that is "beautifully unique and full of character.”

Solidwool completely turns the way wool is used on its head - telling the story of the origin of the material and creating a talking point for sustainable design. The Hembury Chair shows us that eco-conscious furniture doesn’t have to be complicated. We use the equivalent of one whole fleece in each chair, turning unwanted wool into considered sustainable design that is also beautiful.

Introducing Solidwool Colour.

We have found a way to revisit colour in Solidwool, developing an inspired and natural palette using our hardy Welsh Mountain wool. Contemporary and timeless, these new colours are a response to our surroundings - from moss and ochre-tinged lichen to the ancient stone and bark they grow on.
