A few unforgettable days in Almería Spain with for their incredible C.Next Designers event 2026✨

It was such a privilege to be invited by to experience four fun filled days and evenings with beautiful design, inspiring conversations and the opportunity to connect with so many talented designers from around the world.

From exploring Cosentino’s headquarters, factory and showrooms to discovering the latest innovations in surfaces and materials, there was so much to take away from the experience.

One of the highlights was being introduced to the newly launched Éclos collection, a beautiful new product range ….. it’s always exciting to discover new materials and finishes that bring fresh possibilities to our projects, and this is certainly one I’ll be keeping in mind for future designs.

As someone who has such a love for natural stone, beautiful finishes and considered details, it was incredibly inspiring to see the craftsmanship, innovation and attention to detail behind the products.

Of course, what made the trip even more special was the wonderful group of designers I had the pleasure of sharing it with Emma Henry , Charlene Turkington and Luke Mehaffey ….. we had so many lovely conversations, great laughs, lots of dancing and so many memories made along the way 🎉🍸🍹

A huge thank you to the entire team for such a thoughtfully organised and memorable experience, and for the amazing Emma Leslie for looking after us so amazingly throughout our time in Spain.

The Perfect Stair Runner – Where Style Meets Practicality✨

Selecting the perfect stair runner is about so much more than choosing a beautiful carpet. It’s about finding the right balance between style, practicality and durability, whilst ensuring the design complements the overall interior scheme.

As Interior Designers, there are several key factors we carefully consider when specifying a stair runner for our clients:

* Foot Traffic & Durability – Staircases are often one of the busiest areas of the home, so selecting a hard-wearing carpet that can withstand everyday use is essential.

* Existing Flooring – The stair runner should complement the flooring in adjoining spaces, creating a seamless and cohesive flow throughout the home.

* Panelling & Architectural Details – Wall panelling, skirting and staircase detailing all influence the choice of pattern, texture and overall design.

* Paint Colours & Finishes – Carefully considering the colour palette ensures the runner works beautifully alongside the walls, woodwork and surrounding finishes.

* Texture, Pattern & Colour – Whether opting for a timeless neutral, subtle texture or a statement pattern, the runner should enhance the character of the space.

* Finishing Details – From bespoke edging and binding to stair rods, it’s often the smallest details that make the biggest difference.

An inspiring afternoon in conversation with six of Ireland’s leading interior designers…….✨

It was a privilege to attend at The Malthouse and connect with six of Ireland’s leading interior designers.

Photographed by The Gloss Magazine, the Round Table event we participated in above offered us an invaluable opportunity to spend an amazing 30 minutes each in conversation with two of these talented Designers.

At our Round Table, we had insightful conversations with the inspiring Grania Murray and Louise Rankin who each gave us a fascinating insight into their individual career journeys and the creative thinking behind their work.

It was a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas and gain valuable feedback from such highly respected designers within the interior design industry. We left feeling truly inspired, motivated and excited to continue our journey ahead.

Such an inspiring day to attend the Design Round Table at Design Week Dublin at the stunning Malt House, Grand Central Quay.

It was a fabulous opportunity to meet with six Irish fabulous Designers to gain insights into their interior practices and projects, and learn what drives their creativity.

A beautifully designed bathroom starts long before the tiles and finishes are chosen… ✨

Careful planning is the foundation of creating a space that looks beautiful, functions effortlessly and works for the people using it every day.

Our bathroom planning process begins with understanding how the space needs to work — who is using the space, what is their morning routine, storage requirements and their overall practical needs.

Once these foundations are in place, every decision is thoughtfully planned ………from choosing the perfect tiles, sanitary ware fixtures, bespoke vanity units, storage solutions, lighting, to paint colours and fabric choices. Our key focus is to ensure our choices create a bathroom which feels effortless, functional and beautifully considered.

For this bathroom, we have focused on layering a palette of warm neutrals, natural textures, soft tones and adding elegant brass detailing……..we explored how each material, colour and finish would work together.

The result will be a bathroom that is beautifully planned, thoughtfully layered and designed around the way our clients live— practical for everyday family life, yet calm, elegant and timeless.

When contemporary meets timeless design… creating a space that feels perfectly at home✨

Such a lovely morning spent with our clients presenting the design for their beautiful living space.

From the outset, the brief was very clear. Having recently built a stunning modern, contemporary home, it was important that the design for this space felt completely in keeping with the architecture and overall aesthetic of their home, whilst still bringing warmth, texture and personality to the space.

A key focus of the design was the thoughtful integration of natural materials, including; warm timber, slatted panelling and beautiful stone finishes. These elements have been carefully considered to create a seamless connection between the two key zones, the kitchen/dining area and the living area, whilst subtly defining each space.

The result is a considered, contemporary scheme that feels warm, inviting and effortlessly connected to the wider home and its surrounding natural environment.

Great cabinetry doesn't just fill a space—it transforms the way you live in your home ✨

Every bespoke design begins with understanding how our clients want to live in their home, and this games room was no exception.

Our client's brief was clear from the outset – to create a beautiful, yet highly functional space featuring bespoke TV cabinetry that incorporates a drinks cabinet, generous hidden storage, and carefully curated display shelving.

The room also needed to work hard, so we designed bespoke cabinetry for a dedicated study and gaming zone, alongside a book cases to house an ever-growing book collection. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure the space is practical, timeless, and perfectly tailored to our client's lifestyle.

We can't wait to see these designs brought to life and share the finished result with you.

There is something special about bespokely designed cabinetry which is hand painted to meet the needs of a client’s space and our chosen colour scheme ✨

The beautiful arched detail on the bespoke cabinetry either side of the fireplace certainly adds a layer of interest, softness and elegance to this space.

Tiles around the fire surround are yet to be installed as these are currently being designed and handmade as we were keen to have them perfectly blend with the colours and design of our window dressings.

A well-designed home should feel connected to nature—even when fresh flowers aren’t an option.

I have always loved having real flowers in my home and I do this on a weekly basis.

I do believe real flowers bring life, texture and a sense of calm which is really at the heart of biophilic design – creating a stronger connection between our interiors and the natural world.

That said, not every beautiful arrangement has to be real... 🌿

There are times when a beautifully crafted artificial arrangement is the perfect solution, especially in spaces where natural light is limited or fresh flowers simply won’t thrive. When chosen well, they can provide lasting beauty while still adding warmth and character to a room.

Which do you prefer in your home—fresh flowers or beautifully crafted artificial arrangements? 🌸
