Basingstoke NeighbourCare Basingstoke NeighbourCare assists older members of our local community by providing support to maintain independence and reduce social isolation.

We provide Driving, Befriending, Gardening and Handyperson Services along with our weekly Community Cafes. Please 'like' and share our page and refer our services to any local elderly person who needs help with transportation (small fee payable) or who would like more information about our befriending service. Not enough local people know of our existence. Please help us in spreading details about our services.

A couple of hours can make a real difference to someone in our local community.

Our Charity of the Year, Basingstoke NeighbourCare, is looking for more volunteer drivers to help older and disabled people who may struggle to use public transport get to appointments and stay connected with the world around them.

Volunteers can choose when they are available, whether that is a few hours each week or simply once a month, making it a flexible way to support people locally.

We are proud to support NeighbourCare and the work they do to help people maintain their independence and remain in their own homes for longer.

If you live in Basingstoke, are over 60 or have a disability, our gardening service is available to support you with the maintenance of your garden. This could be a one off tidy or a regular visit, whatever works best for you.

Our gardeners are friendly, reliable and importantly, they are of course DBS checked.

'106 cards for 106 year old Violet'
I am the Befriending Coordinator at Basingstoke NeighbourCare.
One of our befriending clients is going to be 106 very soon!!
Violet is amazing, when I first met her she had had her card from the Queen and was hoping to get one from the King when she turned 105. This year, we would like cards from our community!

If you would like to send her one, please send it to receive by Friday 16th October.
