Hey everyone👋🏻
I think this is a post I’ve needed to make for a while & I guess right now (on my lunch break) felt like the right time.
Sunday & Woods started almost 6 years ago… during the pandemic and my first year of uni. I accidentally made ‘The chubby tote’ for myself… and anyway a few bags later. I thought wait. This is a brilliant idea for a brand. & whilst it wasn’t quite that simple, that’s essentially how it started.
I had a rebrand about a year ago & also launched the current collection style ‘The Slouch’. I’ve been lucky enough to trade all over the country, meeting so many amazing customers, fellow small businesses & well just some really lovely people.
Anyway…
As some of you may know. This last year of my life has been a bit wild. I essentially left a stable job, income & my hometown to return to my old university to complete my masters degree in textile design. It has been the wildest, hardest, bestest year of my life.
However… it’s taught me A LOT! A lot about myself, my dreams, goals, aspirations but most importantly business and textiles.
You see where I’m going…
Now whilst I’m not saying i want to stop Sunday & Woods. I also know I cannot continue the way I’ve been running.
Essentially the business hasn’t really been a business. It’s been more of a hobby that on occasion has done well.
but… I’m now working a full time job, post masters, trying to figure out wtf I’m doing with my life.
So whilst this post has essentially said everything & nothing. I just mostly wanted to say hello, I miss you all, I’ll be back soon, in what capacity I’m not sure.
However in celebration of this wild journey I’ve been on with the brand and knowing there is a pending overhaul looming. I have collated all remaining stock & will be hosting a MEGA archive sale (£20 or less) this coming Monday✨
