PUBLIC NOTICE REGARDING BIDEFORD 10 MILE RACE ON SUNDAY 1 NOVEMBER 2026
The traffic into Bideford will be heavier than usual as competitors arrive in the morning for the race start (10.30am), possibly impacting other road users.
ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: a section of Kinglsey Road, the Quay and Bideford’s Long Bridge will be closed to traffic for the race start for approximately 10 minutes from 10.29am. More information is here.
The race continues on the road towards Instow, along Instow seafront and rejoins the road to West Yelland; we kindly ask drivers to take care when travelling along the route as there will be runners along the side of the road.
The race then returns on the Tarka Trail; we would like to make the public and community aware there will be several runners on the trail from about 10.50am to approximately 12.30pm.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in the trade.
