Exciting news to start the week! 💜

We’re Bronze Sponsors of the Passivhaus Trust Conference 2026 on 18 November at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London (and online).

It’s the biggest day in the UK for comfortable, healthy, low-energy buildings, and this year it’s all about making them affordable for everyone. We’ll be there all day with Passive Purple and Airtight White, so come and say hello!

Deep retrofit in Cambridge! 🏚️💜
But before Passive Purple, we need to prime!

From the vault 📂💜

A school retrofit from 2021, bringing a historic building back into use.

Old solid brick walls are never straightforward. Uneven brickwork, old repairs, patched plaster and gaps everywhere.

🖌️ Prep: Passive Purple brush grade worked into joints, cracks and details first
💨 Spray: Passive Purple Internal applied over the top for a continuous, airtight vapour control layer

No tapes, no laps, and it followed every brick, joint and repair.

We are at Eastwood South Estate on a site today painting Passive Purple at joist zone level before hangers and joists go on, on 7 plots.

Watch the wall turn purple 💜🎥

Passive Purple External is going on at a new college campus in Cardiff. One continuous membrane following every block, joint and edge.

More to come on this one 👀

Inside or outside? Which membrane goes where? 🤔💜

The rule stays the same, whatever you're building with:

🟣 Passive Purple Internal = vapour control on the warm side
🟣 Passive Purple Facade = weather protection on the cold side
