So this recent job that was completed, we went back to check up now the scaffolding has been taken down to have a site tidy up and get some pictures.

Very rewarding to see the completed job now it’s on show.

Will be going back in due course to complete downpipes and do the lower section to front and rear garage of soffit, fascia & gutters to complete the house.

Couple of little jobs completed for 2 customers.

1- Replacing an old kitchen tap that was broken due to coming apart from the base.

2- Tweeking 2 gates so they will shut together and open fully

3- Front door top hinge completely off the frame causing the door to sag and have to be lifted up top shut the door fully

Current project on the go….. full soffit, fascia and guttering on this big 4 bed property.

Requiring timber work all the way around to change the open soffit into a closed soffit using hollow board scribed around the wet dash render.

This customer is in the process of selling their home and after the survey, it came back with damp on the internal wall.

The cause was due to some botched lead outlet for the guttering leaking and dripping constantly onto the decking below splashing onto the wall which as you can see must of been for many years.

This new correctly fitted outlet into the downpipe will resolve the issue for the new home owner.

This customer wanted to add some warmth to this bedroom during the colder months with only being single skin on the 2 external walls

The walls were battened with DPC behind to stop any cold bridging coming through and then cross battened to create an air flow behind making a cavity between the wall and the insulated plasterboards.

A new windowsill fitted, electrical sockets brought out to suit and old skirting refitted ready for the carpet fitter to cut back the carpet to suit.

This job consisted of re bedding and replace broken patio flags and re bed loose coping stones around this residential home.

As you can see someone has previously “repaired” by using silicone 🤦‍♂️ rather than removing the old mortar bed. These were taken up and sbr used on both sides to create a solid key both sides.

All joints were done with sand & cement over typical grout that usually fails to give a joint that will last.

What a transformation from just a replacement of soffit, fascia and guttering. This also a had new dry verge kit to replace the faded old ones.

This bungalow will look brilliant once rendering has been complete 👌
