Pumpkin picking 🎃

Today we took the kids to Sompting Pumpkins and we had a whale of a time. We go every year as a family tradition and we always have the best time.

On the tractor ride they teach you all about the different types of pumpkins, what you can do with them, the farmers, the land and so much more!

We’ve now carved our pumpkins and got them out on display 😍

Have you done yours yet?

DIY Spooky biscuits for Halloween on a budget 🎃👻

I refuse to spend a fortune on biscuit kits or craft packs when I could do it myself for half the price, and this was such an easy, cheap alternative to give the kids an afternoon of fun this afternoon!

Here’s what I got:

Edible slime from for £1.50!
Digestives 50p
Black icing pen £1.25
Icing sugar was already in the house!

Let me know if you try it for a bit of Halloween fun with the kids!

Here’s an inexpensive tip to upgrade regular items around your home on a budget!

It’s so simple and so cheap… ribbon! Different colours of ribbon for different seasons is such an easy way to bring in seasonal touches without spending a fortune or buying new decor. These two ribbons cost me under £3 in total - Bargain!!!

Would you give it a go?

Home is therapy ❤️‍🩹

If your home isn’t your therapy, relook at why that is and add some home comforts and cosy vibes. Lots of candles, fire on, cosy settings and home cooked food makes me feel so calm and relaxed.

Don’t get me wrong, a spa day wouldn’t go a miss sometimes 🤣 But home is my safe space ❤️

Mini summer house glow up ✨👩🏼‍🎨

We started this project LAST winter, and completed it in Summer and still not gotten round to sharing it 🤣🫣 The only thing left to do now is find a decent desk chair, a nice hanging light from the ceiling and paint the outside a nicer colour. I’m thinking a griege stone colour??

It’s now a cosy office space/ summer house and it looks 100 times better! When we bought the house it was covered in holes from the previous owner and desperately needed a refresh.

What do you think?

Do I regret decorating our small downstairs toilet dark? Absolutely not 😍

Our home is so neutral throughout and I wanted something that stood out and a little more bougie. People said it would feel smaller being dark, but it really doesn’t.

There’s still a few finishing touches to be done but other than that, I’m happy with it!

What do you think? Would you do it?

Ibiza moments ☀️🍾 PR Invite.

Here’s a few little captures I got from the PR trip to Ibiza with Laura James 📸

To be invited on a PR Trip to view the most gorgeous furniture for summer 2027, hang out with the best bunch of people, in a beautiful country, with delicious food and drink is still such a pinch me moment.

I’ve got hundreds of pictures but sadly Insta will only allow 20 🤣😬

PR Trip - Ibiza Dreaming 💭☀️

Here’s a little roundup of my weekend in Ibiza. 2nd year running that I’ve been invited to such an amazing event in Ibiza and I still pinch myself now 🥹😍

It was so amazing to meet so many amazing creators there and enjoy such delicious food and drinks while viewing the Spring Summer garden collection with .james.home and it did NOT disappoint 😍

With storms and floods we struggled yesterday to get home and there were some pretty scary moments but we got there in the end and I am absolutely shattered today 🤣

Prepare for more Ibiza spam coming soon 🤣👀
