🌿🐾 A very special little arrival at Oaktrees Nurseries 🐾🌿
Seven weeks ago, we said goodbye to our beautiful Miya. She was only seven years old, far too young, and we lost her to stomach cancer. Miya wasn’t just a dog to me — she was a huge part of my life and a very special part of the nursery. Her little face, her character and her presence are still very much missed every day.
Nothing could ever replace Miya, and that’s not what this is about.
But life has a way of bringing something new when you least expect it. ❤️
Today, I’m delighted to welcome little Freya to Oaktrees Nurseries. She’s our beautiful new Samoyed puppy, and she’s already making herself at home — a tiny bundle of mischief, curiosity and love.
And, of course, she has her big sister Nola to show her the ropes! 🐾🤍
Freya will be growing up here at the nursery, just as Nola has, becoming part of our everyday life among the plants, trees, woodland and all the people who visit us. I want everyone who comes to Oaktrees to have the chance to watch her grow, get to know her and see her character develop.
She’s will soon be leaning to be a little digger, a little mouse hunter and a very inquisitive little soul — so I have a feeling she’ll fit into nursery life perfectly! 😂🌱🐭
There will always be a special place here for Miya. She can never be replaced, and she never will be.
But there’s room in our hearts for Freya too. ❤️
