Step inside the primary en-suite at our River House project, one of our favourite rooms in this house.

Tucked beneath the eaves, every detail was considered to create a bathroom that feels serene and calm for our client. Tongue and groove panelling, an oak vanity with reeded drawer fronts and his and her basins, with a chequerboard marble floor for a classic, timeless aesthetic.

We're in our final month of our 12 month build at our Gate House project and we really now are on the home stretch now with carpets, worktops, shower screens and the internal steel doors being installed this week! The bespoke joinery is in it's finishing stages and decorating is coming to an end ready to commence snagging in a couple of weeks.

We're on the 3 week countdown until client handover!

Tiles often look beautiful in showrooms, but it's how they work in your home, day to day that tells you which materials are right for you.

From natural materials such as marble, limestone and terracotta to man-made materials such as porcelain and ceramic.

We love to use natural materials where we can, and when budget allows, but it's important that clients understand the maintenance required. Natural materials are porous so require sealing every 9-12 months and careful use so spills need to be cleaned up immediately. However, the beauty of a natural material is the ageing process. The beautiful patina tells a story.

If this isn't for you then a man-made material is your best route. There are some incredible porcelains on the market now-a-days which mimic natural stone. For example, a tumbled edge limestone effect porcelain tile is something we use a lot when our client doesn't want the maintenance that comes with limestone.

We share all of our exact picks from our client projects over on our Instagram subscriber page.

There are two types of render that we typically use on our projects, these are monocouche and silicone. Both are through colours, but monocouche is a thick application and silicone is a thin coat. The surface we are applying it to will determine which we use.

First reveal of our beautiful White House kitchen which we handed over to our clients a couple of weeks ago.

This space used to be a small, dark room between the existing garage and dining room and as part of a significant renovation including a double story extension and a second floor added with a new roof structure, this property is now unrecognisable.

We can't wait to share more of this project in the coming weeks.
