Minni Parker is an English textiles and homeware brand, inspired by Austria and crafted in Cornwall.

The red and green colour combination is the Minni Parker centre of gravity, and we are delighted to introduce our new shade Advent Green across all our fabrics🌲

I started printing linens to fill the gaps in my own home and, whilst I have made every effort since to deviate, red and green is where we come from. It works all year round, but feels particularly lovely right now 🕯️

Advent Green will be available on our website next week, but in the meantime just email us at [email protected] and we’ll send you a sample 💌

Welcome to the Minni Parker Studio.

Our mornings always begin the same way: with a good pot of coffee and an excellent playlist, although Alexandra Lawrie would dispute both. It’s a busy, creative, ever-changing space, and so much of what you see from Minni Parker starts here.

This is where we meet with clients and interior designers, develop ideas and design rooms, cut samples, pack orders, and draw. .h_curtains is here once a week, discussing projects, collecting fabric and bringing our designs to life.

Today my mum is coming to help prepare for the beautiful THE CHRISTMAS COTSWOLD FAIR - the coffee is on .cornwall and there is already ribbon everywhere… ✨✨

The most highly coveted of all the alpine flowers, I have been looking for Edelweiss in the mountains all my life. The plants spend the winter covered in snow and somehow still bloom from spring to autumn.

When I was ten years old my mother painted all the furniture in my bedroom green and covered it in strings of hand painted white Edelweiss. In short, she found a way to bring them home. This is the closest I could get to that original drawing.

Edelweiss Gingham looks particularly lovely in blinds and lampshades like these ones made by the brilliant Imogen Pope London

It is always such a pleasure to see our bedding out in the wild, but this Blume bedroom in the divine new home of nicolahuthwaite is particularly special...

Hand-drawn in the mountains, there is a timeless charm to these Blume quilts - feminine without being too girly and cosy without ever being too much.

All today really needs is a stack of books, a basket of logs and a roaring fire…

This is Blume.

I borrowed these flowers from a memory of the best curtains I’ve ever seen, in the window of an old Austrian mountain hut.

After I drew Blume, I sent it out to India where it was hand carved onto wooden blocks and printed on linen. I wanted to keep production in the UK, but something in the natural imperfection of the block printed Blume improved the design and the best flowers from that journey to India and back made it onto the final artwork.

Blume is now printed in Manchester along with all other fabrics and wall coverings in the Minni Parker collection. It also comes in a larger scale print, called Blume Block.

The fire is already lit this morning, the linen cupboard is stocked with our new Edelweiss Trellis Quilts and Minni Ticking duvet sets, and there’s really no getting away from the Gemütlichkeit of it all….

The two weeks since Focus/26 have been a bit of a blur but we are working through your sample orders and these will all be with you next week. And if you have ordered a quilt this week then make your bed, it’s on its way…
