ATLAS HOME

You're someone who loves discovering new places, exploring new surroundings and collecting little reminders of experiences along the way

You’re naturally curious. You enjoy variety, hate feeling too restricted and prefer things to feel relaxed rather than overly organised.

You might be drawn to different cultures, interesting objects, old furniture with a story, or things that remind you of somewhere you’ve been.

And while you appreciate a beautiful home, you’re probably not particularly interested in everything matching.

If that sounds familiar, you might recognise yourself in Atlas Home.

One of the expressions from the Scenic archetype, Atlas Home is about curiosity, discovery and the freedom to bring different influences together.

It’s not necessarily about being well-travelled. It’s about having an open, exploratory nature.

And when that personality translates into an interior, I see earthy colours, weathered textures, collected details and relaxed layering.

Atlas Home is my featured style this month.

Are you an Atlas person? Or do you prefer somewhere a little more ordered and predictable?

Walked the dog on the beach this morning and realised what I actually needed was to come back without the dog and do absolutely nothing.

So that’s exactly what I did.

Read half a book, scrolled through half my phone, squinted into the sunshine and generally pretended I was having a lazy morning in bed. Except my bed was the beach.

I managed a full 2 hours of unadulterated adulting.💪

Not everyone wants a home that whispers. Some of us need one that makes a little noise!

This week, we’re kicking off Tip Tuesday with the Bold archetype — the first of five interior style archetypes.

But Bold isn’t just one look. There are three very different expressions, and you might be surprised which one feels like you.

Are you Bold? Tell me in the comments.

There’s been bathroom designing, skate nights, and the sale of the Pioneer Edition of the Atlas Home Style Kit - another client finding her own interior expression, which is always exciting.

A week of salty hair, sunshine, creative work and little wins.

A reminder that home isn’t just about the spaces we create, but the life we get to live in and around them.

❤️🌈

Over the next few weeks I’m going to take each archetype one at a time, starting with Bold.

Then I’ll introduce the three expressions that sit underneath each one, because that’s where the style becomes much more specific.

I want you to play along as we go.

Notice what resonates.
Notice what absolutely doesn’t.
Notice which descriptions feel familiar before you even see the interiors.

By the end, you should have a much clearer idea of where you sit.

I’m changing Tip Tuesday slightly.

Rather than just giving you isolated design tips, I want to start helping you understand your own design language.

Because once you know what you’re actually drawn to - and more importantly, why - choosing colour, furniture, materials and finishing details becomes much easier.

I’ve developed 15 Beaten Green interior style expressions, each with its own feeling, visual language and way of creating home.

Over the next few weeks, I’m going to start introducing them properly so you can work out where you fit.

And the useful bit is that this isn’t just about prescribing style, it also gives us a shared language, so when you bring me a Free Friday question, I can guide you towards something that feels more like you.

Or when you’re standing in a shop wondering whether that chair, lamp or paint colour is right, you’ll have a much clearer filter for making the decision.

And this is where we start!
