Haven't updated the footpath project on here for a couple of weeks but went down for a couple of hours or so yesterday before work. Got a chunk more done before I had to go and left Andrea and Catherine hard at it. Jonathon Cousins R&J Fencing ltd has been this morning and cut and tidied up a load of bushes back which will be a massive help.
Loads of nice comments from people passing by.
I spoke to a guy the other day, who asked why do I do it?
Easy answer, because I can. It costs me a couple of my time a week, hopefully makes life a little bit easier for some people, hopefully makes the place look a little bit more looked after. Hopefully it's not hurting anyone and i actually find it quite therapeutic having a change of scenery, (although my back complains it the next day) so why not?

Amazing model of the shop made by the obviously extremely talented Jane Holden Some of you might have already seen this on one of the Weardale groups but wanted to share it on our page as well. I think it's incredible🩵

I was told, you only get out what you put in.
Apart from when it comes to the washing machine.
10 socks in....10 socks out?
Noooooo. Might be 9, might be 11
10 though? Never been known🤷‍♂️

Deeply saddened to learn the awful news about young Charlie. Our younger daughter grew up with her through nursery, primary etc and we all have a lot of fond memories of her. There's no words probably mean much at the moment but our thoughts are with her family.
RIP Charlie😢
