💡 We promised lampshades — and here they are! 🌿

Remember we mentioned there were more additions coming to our SpringFest sustainable window display? Well, meet the latest stars of the show — beautiful lampshades handcrafted from fabric remnants left over from curtain making. Not a scrap wasted! ♻️

Because here at Design at No.9, we truly believe that great design and sustainable living go hand in hand. Every offcut, every remnant, every piece of fabric has potential — sometimes it just needs a little imagination! ✂️✨

🥈 We did it — SECOND PLACE in the Cullompton Shop Window Competition at SpringFest! 🌸

What an incredible honour! We were pipped to the post by a truly worthy window from the Swimming Pool charity — and honestly, hats off to them! 🏊

A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped to look, voted, and supported us today. Your encouragement means the world to us. This little sustainable window display was made with so much love, and knowing it resonated with so many of you is just the best feeling. 🌿♻️

Watch this space — the lampshades are still coming! 😄

In support of Cullompton SpringFest, we're excited to reveal our latest window display — all centred around sustainable living.

Everything you see in the window is Recycled, Reused, Revamped:
🎨 Paint
🧵 Fabrics
🛋️ Throws

And the star of the show? A beautiful collection of chairs being reupholstered with pure craftsmanship and stunning fabric from Scion — a bold British brand from the Sanderson Group — made entirely from recycled textiles (also used on our backdrop panels).

Sometimes great things take a little time, so pop back next week for new additions — lampshades are on their way too!
