The materials have arrived for our next 8x6 shed… and so the fun begins! 🔨🪵

This one’s getting a bit of extra muscle compared with our standard sheds 💪 Thicker framing, 4x2 treated timbers for framing, and treated timber boarding instead of OSB for a change.

Keep an eye out as we bring this one together. One thing’s certain — it’s going to be HEAVY.

These are proving really popular just now at Origin!

Built with substantial 38mm × 50mm framing and an overall thickness of 52mm, these panels are a solid choice if you’re fed up with flimsy fence panels.

✅ Can be fitted with the boards running horizontally or vertically

Our handmade wooden planters are £60 each.

🔨 Decking replacement in Easter Road, Edinburgh!

The old decking had become rotten and dangerous, so it was time for a fresh start. We replaced it with a new deck, giving the customer an outdoor space they can enjoy again. 🏡

New 6ft fence in Edinburgh 🔨

Out with the old, rickety fence and in with a fresh timber replacement—a much smarter garden boundary.

Access was tight on this job, with a narrow public walkway running alongside the fence. Keeping materials organised and the work area tidy was an important part of the job, helping minimise disruption for people walking past.

Fence replacement in Balerno 🔨🌿

After the old fence came down in the winds, the customer decided on a complete renewal. Much of the existing fencing could have been saved, but they wanted to replace all the posts, rails, slats and gate.

We installed a new 6ft double-sided fence in brown treated timber, finished with a capping rail and matching gate. A tidy finish from both sides 💚

A fresh new fence in Parkhead, Edinburgh 🔨🌿

This job was carried out for an estate agency, replacing an old, tired fence with a new 3ft timber fence.

The old fencing was removed, leaving a much smarter boundary and a tidier approach to the property.

A small decking job making a big difference in Mayfield 🌿🔨

The aim was simple: tidy up the garden and create a usable outdoor space.

Plenty of digging went into this one, with all materials carried by hand through the house! Hard work, but well worth it to see the finished result.
