The Little Greene Paint Company is proudly raising money for breast cancer awareness this month by donating proceeds from all their paint and wallpaper sales to Coppafeel.

Support the campaign this October by exploring their collections n our Ellon Showroom and designing a beautiful new scheme for your home...

A playful, fun-loving pink, Floss is a new paint colour from Little Greene that brings instant joy to a space. It's half the intensity of their existing shade 'Carmine', providing a versatile, bold pink that can still be used in a colour-drenched scheme.

As part of a major house renovation, this space combines a soft Shaker style with a generous island, warm antique brass details, glass feature cabinetry and a bronze mirror splashback.

The finished design brings together Küchen GmbH & Co. KG cabinetry, Rotpunkt Køkken glass units, Vadara UK quartz worktops, Quooker UK and Alexander & Wilks brass details, Dunavox and Sensio Lighting Ltd.

When Diane visited the finished project, the client said the kitchen had exceeded her expectations and had become the heart and hub of her home. We think that says it all.

Warm neutrals are popular with our customers.

A softer palette of taupe, cashmere, beige and richer browns creates a softer, more inviting feel. Greens remain a firm favourite too, with gentle sage tones offering a fresh alternative to deeper forest greens.

Which shade would you choose?

When you’re designing an open-plan kitchen, the right appliances need to work hard without dominating the space.

Kitchen Designer Emma recently highlighted the Miro Spectre venting induction hob as one of her go-to options, combining induction cooking and extraction within one streamlined appliance.

One of the things Emma particularly likes is how discreet it feels in the finished kitchen. The central glass extraction can close when it’s not in use, leaving a much cleaner surface, while the Spectre is also available in a matt black finish for an even softer, understated look.

It’s practical too. Miro Cooker Hoods - The Art of Extraction describes the Spectre as having a powerful motor with minimal noise, making it particularly suited to open-plan living, along with automatic extraction that adjusts depending on the cooking zones being used.

Why Emma recommends it:
▪️Quiet operation
▪️Available in black glass or matt black
▪️Discreet central extraction
▪️Easy-access components for cleaning
▪️Dishwasher-safe removable elements
▪️Protection against spills and boil-overs
▪️Two bridge zones for more flexible cooking
