I decorated this wedding cake in the theme; sage, peach and gold for my Sister in law and her husband. My mother in law baked the cakes and I covered it and made the sugar flowers.
It was extremely difficult in this heat as the sugar paste kept drying out very quickly 😅 I covered it in a layer of white chocolate ganache to help stabilise it and even that didn't set very hard!
My mother in law had to brave the hot car and traffic to get it to the venue to set it up. I think she did a lovely job of decorating the table. 🥰

I made this cake for one of my closest friends special birthday. It was based on her tattoos, her love of bunnies and one of her many hobbies - crochet.

The converse shoe was inspired from her design where she painted on her own shoes a peacock feather design. I adapted it into more of a boot style just to make sure the bunny fit 😊

I'm so proud of the BSG Portsmouth & District Cake Decorating & Sugarcraft Group for winning Bronze at the Ardingly show. The theme was "Seasons" and we had to use different mediums showcasing the different skills we have such as;
modeling chocolate, RKT, wafer paper, modelling and flower paste , sugar sheets and edible cake lace.

A few months ago we sadly lost a lovely woman who was an integral part in our branch. It was so sad she couldn't be there to celebrate with us.
The fact our team pulled this off while grieving for a friend is incredible.

My main contribution to the table was the blue tit on the spade made using modeling chocolate and RKT and coloured using edible dusts but just look at all the other incredible items on the table. 😍
What a talented bunch of members! Well done all.
